ABOUT US:

Christina School District Child Nutrition Services, under the direction of Tony Williams, Child Nutrition Supervisor, provides breakfast, lunch and after school snacks for the districts approximately 18,000 students. 

We currently operate 9 cooking schools, 21 satellite schools and supply breakfast and lunch to 3 Alternate Program sites. Child Nutrition Services employs: 9 Managers, 4 Assistant Managers, 10 Cooks, 9 Lead Workers, 21 Satellite Lead Workers, 5 Satellite Meal Handlers and 135 General Workers who prepare and serve approximately 3,000 breakfasts and 10,000 lunches district wide to our students.

The Child Nutrition Program of the Christina School District is committed to providing well-balanced meals that contribute to the health and well-being of our students.  We believe nutrition influences a student's development, lifelong health status, and potential for learning.  The Child Nutrition Program provides breakfast and lunch in all K-12 buildings in the Christina School District. 

The program is managed in accordance with The National School Lunch Act, policies established by the Christina School District Board of Education, the Department of Health, and the Delaware Department of Education.
